In a deliciously weird story out of Spain, a cafe literally torched by a customer angry over their lack of mayonnaise has been saved thanks to an assist from Hellmann's, who stepped in to cover the repairs. The bizarre episode reportedly occurred last month at the Cafeteria Las Postas in the city of Seville. Detailing the condiment commotion on social media, the cafe explained that it began when a patron "asked us for a couple of packets of mayonnaise for his sandwich." After being told that they had none, the man left the shop without incident. However, the seemingly run-of-the-mill moment at the cafe quickly turned terrifying when he returned to the eatery, wielding a container of gasoline and demanding both ketchup and mayonnaise.
