Green Bay Packers to host Family Night Saturday

On Saturday, Aug. 5, the Green Bay Packers will host a Family Night at training camp at Lambeau Field. This will be the 22nd annual Family Night and Bellin Health will present it.

Day activities will begin in the Lambeau Field parking lot at 3:30 p.m. CT. Evening activities will get underway at the stadium at 5:30 p.m. CT, and it will be followed by on-field football warmups, which are scheduled for 7 p.m. CT. The Green Bay Packers practice for that day will officially begin at 7:30 p.m. CT.

As of right now, weather-wise, the temperatures in Green Bay call for a high of 80 degrees and a low of 61 degrees. It is supposed to be partly cloudy skies, with little chance of rain. When the festivities are supposed to begin, it will be 79 degrees at around 3:30 p.m. CT. At 7:30 p.m. CT, it will be 75 degrees and mostly clear skies.

There will be many activities to do at the Green Bay Packers family night event. There will be on-field football drills. There will also be a Jerseys-Off-Our-Backs promotion: The Packers will again give away Family Night used jerseys to lucky fans in attendance. After the practice is over, there will be fireworks and a laser display.

There will also be a fan walkway area. There will also be a tailgating experience along with a DJ.

The tickets for this event can be purchased through Ticketmaster. Parking in the Lambeau Field Parking lot for this event will be $5. There will be no refunds for this event unless all stadium activities from 5:30 p.m. CT until the end of the fireworks show are canceled. All individuals, regardless of age, require a ticket to get in.
