Hurricane Michael Aftermath

Hurricane Michael’s destruction is only increasing by the moment. As per the latest reports, the Category 4 storm has taken at least 18 confirmed lives with its intense winds and rains. Sweeping across six states, the storm has brought flash flooding and left at least one million without power. 

Michael slammed into the Florida Panhandle as a monstrous Category 4 storm with sustained winds of 155 miles-per-hour in the afternoon on October 10. The hurricane rapidly gained strength in the Gulf of Mexico, growing from a tropical depression to one of the strongest storms to ever hit the Panhandle in just a few days.
